Back to School Learning Series: Accommodations and Modifications

FACT Oregon and CODSN are proud to present a Back To School Virtual Learning Series! Be ready for a successful 2022-2023 back to school transition! Going back to school means new schedules, routines and Individual Education Program (IEP) meetings. With six different trainings in this learning series, we’re confident you’ll get the content you need! Mix and match your sessions! Register for a single session or build upon what you’re learning by attending all six!

Accommodations and Modifications

In this training, you will learn:

This training will explain the differences between accommodations and modifications. We will talk about the reasons they are used within the Individualized Education Plan or 504 Plan and how their uses may change a student’s diploma options. A panel of parent peers will also share examples of accommodations and modifications that have worked for their children.

Language Services: Interpretation available by request. Requests made less than three (3) days' notice may not be accommodated. Stay tuned for more information about a Back To School Virtual Learning Series presented in Spanish!
