Community Engagement Specialist
Position Title: Community Engagement Specialist (Two (2) Positions)
Classification: Part-time (15-20 hours per week)
Reports To: Program Manager
Pay Range: $24.00 - $28.50 per hour. The specific starting salary will be determined based on the employee’s qualifications.
Location: FACT is a remote-first organization. The Community Engagement Specialist is expected to maintain an active and consistent presence in the assigned region, which may include Columbia County, the Columbia Gorge, and/or eastern Oregon. This includes regular travel for community events, partner meetings, outreach activities, and family or community engagement. The employee must be able to travel regularly through the assigned region and build trusted relationships within the communities served.
When in-person attendance at the Portland administrative office is necessary, ample notice will be provided. FACT will provide hardware, software, and supplies needed to perform job duties. Staff are responsible for maintaining a reliable remote workspace with secure internet access.

FACT Oregon is hiring two Community Engagement Specialists. These positions will build relationships, strengthen FACT's community presence, and connect families to support in assigned regions within Columbia County, the Columbia Gorge, and eastern Oregon.
The Community Engagement Specialist represents FACT in the community through outreach, relationship-building, family and partner connection, and regional engagement. This role works closely with the Program Manager to develop community engagement plans, participate in local events and meetings, connect families and partners to FACT's support, resources, and trainings, and share community feedback that helps inform FACT's planning and services.
This is a relationship-centered, community-based role for someone who can show up consistently, communicate clearly, follow through, and help families and partners understand how FACT can support them. Regular travel within the assigned region is expected.
