All Ability Tri4Youth 2020 Virtual Event logo

THANK YOU for joining us for the All Ability Tri4Youth 2020 Virtual Challenge!

Together, wherever we were, we came together to be HEALTHY, stay ACTIVE, keep SAFE, and feel CONNECTED!

In previous years, FACT Oregon’s All Ability Tri4Youth has been a 2.53 mile triathlon – the combined distance of the swim, bike, and run. This year, for our 2020 Virtual Challenge, you joined us and did 2.53 your way!

The 2020 Virtual Challenge was FREE and took place between August 8 and August 22, 2020.  All Challenge Participants should be receiving a medal and commemorative t-shirts, if you ordered one, in the mail soon! The medals and t-shirts (if purchased) were mailed at no cost to participants, thanks to our generous sponsors.

Thank you to all who set up fundraising! FACT Oregon continues to be able to support families with the information, resources, and support they need to effectively advocate for children experiencing disability by your generous fundraising.

How did YOU 2.53?

The options were endless, but here are some ways that you did 2.53:

  • Run, jog, walk, or bike for 2.53 miles
  • Passed a ball 253 times
  • Did 253 push-ups, or jumping jacks
  • Took a 2.53 mile hike
  • Swam for 253 minutes
  • Found your own (socially distanced) Triathalon course, where you swam, biked and ran to 2.53
  • Made 253 baskets
  • Jumped on a trampoline 253 times, or for 2.53 minutes
  • Hit a golf ball 253 times

You get the idea, we had a great time! We had over 253 participants, from 2-71 years old! Participants from 12 counties in Oregon, 9 states and even Japan!!

Thank you for Joining us for the All Ability Tri4Youth 2020 Virtual Challenge!
