Assistive Technology (AT) Lab at Community Vision

February 18, 2019 by Molly Williamson

Community Vision launched its AT Program, housed on the main floor of the new Seven Corners Community Building, in September 2018. The AT Lab is directed by a Speech Language Pathologist and an Occupational Therapist, both AT Professionals. The AT Lab is a catalyst for change and inclusion in the Pacific Northwest for individuals who experience disability, families, professionals, students, and the general public. We operate on a collaborative model, driven by an individual’s self-determination, preferences, and goals.

We provide: Consultations, trainings, mentorship, and social groups. Please visit our website for details. In addition to individualized services, we are open for drop-in hours to explore the space and get some general information about AT. Open Public Hours: Thursdays from 12 – 5 pm

AT covers a wide range of products and solutions, all with the intent of increasing participation in life! Areas may include: Communication, Mobility & amp; Positioning, Learning & amp; Vocation, Environmental Controls, Daily Living, or Leisure. Please feel free to call, email, or drop by on a Thursday afternoon. We would love to meet you and discuss possibilities that AT can create for you or a loved one!
