Commission on Autism Spectrum Disorder—Subcommittee Recommendations

June 17 2010

Initial recommendations for each subcommittee of the Oregon Commission on Autism Spectrum Disorder are now posted on the Commission website home page.  Public input is being requested on these draft recommendations.

Initial subcommittee recommendations have been posted on the Oregon Commission on Autism Spectrum Disorder website.  Subcommittees continue to refine their recommendations and develop strategies and timelines for implementation.  Public input is being requested on these draft recommendations.

These recommendations are designed to be part of the basic framework for the final report to the Governor, and also serve as a basis for some initial efforts that have already begun to change the way services and supports are being delivered to individuals on the Autism Spectrum.  Comments on the recommendations can be sent via email to the Commission at staff@orcommissionask.org.

The dates and locations of public forums to further review these recommendations will be announced in early July 2010.
