Multnomah County

The Department of Human Services/Seniors and People with Disabilities contracts with each County to provide a variety of services to individuals with developmental disabilities, through local Community Developmental Disabilities Programs (CDDPs).  The CDDP provides service coordination and serves as the "gateway" to developmental disability services.  To access  the Multnomah County Developmental Disability Program,  call the County Developmental Disabilities Services Division INTAKE line at 503.988.6299.

Family Groups in Multnomah County

•  Padres en Acción--Reunión de familias latinas para celebrar a sus hijos con discapacidades, aprender del uno al otro y así construír una comunidad con poder y apoyo.  Nos reunimos el tercer viernes de cada mes. Nuestras reuniones son gratis, totalmente en español, y sus hijos son bienvenidos.  Por favor de llamar a Edith Jaimes Garcia al 503.262.0593 sí desea asistir o sí tiene preguntas.

•  "A Night to Network" -- Questions about your son's or daughter's IFSP or IEP?  Want to connect with other parents?  Want to use the FACT Family Center computer to look up resources?  FACT Family Center will be open the second Tuesday of each month, September through June, from 6:30pm - 8pm.  Please call or email (1.888.988.3228 or registration@factoregon.org) to let us know you are coming, so we can ensure enough peer parents to help field your questions.  Downloadable flyer in English.  En español.  See Events.
