Becoming a Member
FACT extends membership to individuals and organizations in agreement with the FACT mission, vision and values.
Categories of Membership, Dues, Voting
- Individual (non-voting) no dues, no voting privileges
- Individual (voting) $25 annual dues, one vote
- Organization $100 to $500 annual dues, two votes
Expectation of Voting Members
Voting members are expected to pay dues and promote the purpose of the Coalition in community contacts whenever appropriate and possible, and to attend regularly scheduled meetings of the Coalition. Members are encouraged to be active participants, and as such, each should serve on at least one committee or one of the following workgroups.
- Resource Development
- Policy Work
- Products / Services
- Membership / Awareness
Support of Emerging Groups
FACT is committed to supporting emerging groups (groups that have not incorporated, do not have 501c3 status, and /or are newly formed with limited resources and membership) and will make arrangements with regard to dues. In-kind support of resources (i.e. paper, copying, manpower) can also be accepted in lieu of dues, when that is a feasible option. It is at the discretion of the Board of Directors to waive or otherwise adjust dues.
