Arlene Jones

Administrative Coordinator

Arlene has been the Administrative Coordinator for Family and Community Together since 2004. She is the parent of two young adults and a 2004 Partners in Policymaking graduate. Her background is in veterinary medicine and surgery. Since retiring after 19 years in private practice, her daughter with developmental disabilities has led her to become very familiar with the disabilities world. Arlene has served on the Washington County Developmental Disabilities Advisory Council and Oregon Medical Home Project. She currently serves as board president for Self-Determination Resources Inc, an adult support services brokerage; and is a family representative for the Staley Implementation Group. In 2008, Arlene received the Oregon Developmental Disabilities Champion Award.

During any spare time available she enjoys gardening and craftwork.
