Cheryl Goeken

Cheryl Goeken is married and the mother of two children--a 19 year old daughter in college, and a 14 year old son in junior high school who lives with developmental disabilities. Cheryl has been actively involved in advocacy for people with disabilities since the birth of her son in 1994. She is also caring for her mother who experiences disability due to a stroke. Cheryl has participated in the development of programs that provide support to people with disabilities, assisting these individuals in accessing a self determined life. She has served with the Clackamas County Developmental Disabilities Council for numerous years and is an advisory member on the Special Services Advisory Committee to the Lake Oswego School District School Board.
